Earlier this year, we had the honour of working with a motorcycle club composed of veterans from the Royal Green Jackets. They approached us to design their club logo and create patches for their motorcycle cuts. After a series of discussions, our customer indicated the type of design he wanted, and our creative team got to work. The result was a design that delighted the customer, reflecting the history and ethos of the RGJ and affiliated Regiments.
We produced a patch set consisting of a main back patch with a top and bottom rocker, a front patch, and a side rocker, a tradition started by Captain TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Continuity was maintained throughout the set using the regimental colours. We were also asked to produce merchandise not only for the club but also for its supporters. This ranged from T-shirts, hoodies, and neck tubes to pin badges.
To be patched, members had to meet a certain criterion of a minimum number of rides. This process allowed other club members to get to know and integrate new members. Once the criteria were met, members earned the right to wear the club patches. To manage this, we created a members-only area on our website. Accessible only with a password provided by the club, this ensured that only eligible members could purchase patches and merchandise associated with the club.
We maintain ongoing communication with the club president and committee, periodically receiving design ideas from them to turn into club merchandise. These designs are uploaded to our website, accessible to club members through their login details. Our collaboration with the Royal Green Jackets motorcycle club highlights our commitment to delivering custom designs that honour tradition and foster community spirit.
