At MattchPatch, we’re all about using design to tell stories – and there’s no better story than someone running the London Marathon for a great cause. We were honoured to design and supply a custom running shirt for Jeff Seymour, who’s taking on this incredible challenge in support of the Sue Ryder Hospice – and, in keeping with the cause, We provided the shirt free of charge as our small way of supporting Jeff’s incredible efforts.
Jeff’s mission is personal, and he’s using the London Marathon as a platform to raise much-needed funds for Sue Ryder, who provide expert palliative, neurological, and bereavement support. We wanted to make sure his running gear was up to the task – not only helping him look the part but keeping him comfortable mile after mile.
The Design
The brief was simple: create a shirt that stands out, represents the cause, and gives Jeff all the support he needs during his run. We kept the design bold and impactful, using high-visibility yellow as the base colour with clear black text for maximum contrast and readability. For added convenience, we incorporated a QR code within the design that links directly to Jeff’s fundraising page, along with a concise message about Sue Ryder’s important work.
The shirt features high-performance fabric to help Jeff stay cool and dry, even as the miles pile up.
We’re incredibly proud to support Jeff in his efforts and can’t wait to see him cross the finish line in his custom MattchPatch gear – and we were more than happy to provide the shirt free of charge.
